Privacy Policy
Effective date: 15 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains, in general terms, how the Wardogs ZA community applications may handle information. Applications include this website and the wardogs.co.za domain as well as related applications used on discord for this community.
Information you provide
You may choose to provide information when interacting with this community, joining a linked service, or submitting community content. Only provide information that you are comfortable sharing for that purpose.
Technical information
Website infrastructure or hosting providers may process technical details such as an IP address, browser type, device information, and request timestamps to deliver and protect the website. This is used for monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the security of the service. This website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and see which pages are used and how visitors found the site. It is also told when a donation is started or made, and when it renews, with the plan and amount but not your Steam or Discord account. Google handles this under its own privacy policy, and you can opt out with an ad blocker or Google's browser add-on. When using discord information may be collected for the purpose of interacting with the bots, services and community features provided through the platform.
Third-party services
This website may link to or embed services such as Discord, Google Forms, and YouTube. Those services may collect and use information under their own privacy policies when you interact with them. Review their policies before submitting information or using embedded features.
Use, retention, and security
Information may be used to operate the website, respond to requests, moderate community activity, and protect the service. We keep only what these features need: in-game names, Steam IDs and match statistics from our game servers; the Steam and Discord accounts you choose to link; records of any donations you make; and the contact details you give when applying to become a partner. We do not sell this information.
Your choices and children's privacy
You may contact the community about questions or requests concerning your information by joining the Discord community and raising a ticket. The website is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the website or its services change. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Questions about this policy may be sent to the community by joining the Discord community and raising a ticket.
